RelyOn Smiles Dental is an independent, community-focused private practice founded in 2026 by Dr. Nego Roberts, DMD. Dr. Roberts took over Crouch Family Dentistry with a simple goal: to be a dental home patients can rely on.
Haven’t seen a dentist in years? It is never too late to start. Dr. Roberts takes the time to get to know you, explains every option in plain language, and helps you plan the care that fits your goals. We welcome patients from north Statesville, Troutman, Mooresville and across Iredell County.

RelyOn Smiles Dental is led by Dr. Nego Roberts, DMD, and his team. Cindy Best has cared for patients in Statesville and Iredell County for more than 30 years, alongside Dr. Keith Crouch, Dr. Timothy Crouch and now Dr. Roberts.

Dr. Roberts founded RelyOn Smiles Dental in 2026 to create a modern, patient-centered practice where people receive high-quality care in a comfortable, welcoming setting. Dr. Roberts personally gets to know every patient and explains each option clearly, so you can make confident decisions about your oral health. With more than 18 years in dentistry, 13 as a dental hygienist and 5 as a dentist, he understands care from every side of the chair. He and his wife have two young daughters, and outside the office he enjoys watching sports, spending time with his family and traveling.

When you call, our team takes a few details, including your insurance information if you have it, and gets you scheduled.
- Insurance: Delta Dental, Aetna, Guardian, Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, MetLife, UnitedHealthcare, United Concordia and more. Call the office to check your plan.
- Monthly payments: CareCredit, Cherry, Sunbit and HFD.
- No insurance? We offer an in-house membership plan and self-pay options.
- HSA and FSA cards accepted.
